Specialist Referral Centre for Veterinary Dentistry
At our clinic, we provide a full range of dental services, including specialist dental consultations and comprehensive dental, orthodontic and orofacial care, as well as a wide range of specialised procedures. Our facilities include a complete range of dental equipment and a CBCT scanner. All dental procedures are performed under inhalation anaesthesia.
HANIMA Veterinary Dentistry is led by its founder and Head of Veterinary Dentistry, MVDr. Juraj Hanzel, CASVM (Dentistry), MRCVS, who establishes the clinical standards of the practice and oversees the quality of the dental care provided.
Collaboration with Veterinary Practitioners
A significant proportion of our patients are animals referred to us by veterinary practitioners from other practices. We offer specialist consultations, diagnostics and treatment in veterinary dentistry, oral surgery and orofacial surgery.
Patients may be referred directly by their veterinary practitioner, or owners may contact us themselves following a recommendation and send us the available medical records.

Expertise and Professionalism
Our clinic is currently staffed by four veterinarians, one human doctor (anesthesiologist), three veterinary nurses, a certified behavioral consultant, and a receptionist. The clinic is equipped with two examination rooms, an intervention room, and a fully equipped surgical operating theater. We are constantly pursuing further education.

The clinic is equipped with a wide range of modern equipment and technologies, including the most advanced inhalation anesthesia available on the market, ultrasound, X-ray, intraoral X-ray, iM3 dental unit, microscope, harmonic scalpel Ligasure, and more.

Anesthesiology
All procedures are carried out under inhalation anesthesia with full monitoring. In surgery, we also use artificial lung ventilation (both pressure and volume modes). We have two inhalation anesthesia machines. All veterinary nurses are regularly trained. For more complex cases, anesthesia is provided by MUDr. Anna Hanzel (human anesthesiologist).
